Frequently Asked Questions

What skill level do I need to be?

All levels are welcome! Workshops are designed to accommodate beginners through advanced dancers. Korean pole artists are known for their ability to teach mixed-level classes with modifications for everyone.

Do I need to speak Korean?

No! Workshops are conducted in English or with English translation, and the retreat organizers (including Haeri) are bilingual. You'll be supported in both languages throughout the trip.

Can I come alone?

Of course. Many participants attend the workshops alone but travel together with someone else. The retreat is designed so you have time to both make new international pole dance friends and spend time with your travel non-pole travel buddy.

What's the typical group size?

We keep groups intimate—typically 12-15 participants. This ensures personalized attention in workshops and a tight-knit community experience.

When will the next retreat dates be announced?

Join the waitlist to be the first to know! We typically announce dates 6-8 months in advance and sell out quickly.

Can I extend my stay in Korea?

Yes! The retreat is designed with flexibility in mind. Many participants arrive early or stay longer to explore more of Korea or visit nearby countries like Japan.

International Pole Dance Retreat in Korea

The K-Pole Retreat is an exclusive international pole dance retreat in Korea that offers a unique combination of world-class pole instruction and authentic Korean cultural immersion. This 9-day pole dance vacation takes participants through three iconic Korean destinations: Seoul, Busan, and Jeju Island.

Unlike typical pole dance retreats, the K-Pole Retreat provides unprecedented access to Korea's top pole artists and renowned studios. Participants train in Seoul pole dance studios with K-pole stars, experience oceanside pole workshops in Busan, and relax with yoga on Jeju Island. This is the only retreat of its kind that combines elite pole training with deep cultural experiences like staying in traditional Korean hanok houses, traditional tea ceremonies, and curated food experiences.

Perfect for pole dancers looking for international retreat experiences, those wanting to learn from Korean pole instructors, or anyone seeking a pole dance and cultural travel experience in Asia. The retreat welcomes all skill levels and provides English instruction throughout. With only 12-20 spots available, the K-Pole Retreat sells out quickly each year.
